Dharma Study with SoKai Charli Vogt

SoKai Charli Vogt:(she/her) has been a spiritual seeker as long as she can remember, through Lutheran Catechism, Pagan studies, Feminist Spirituality and Buddhism. She has been studying Buddhism intensely since 2007, when she received the precepts from Thich Nhat Hanh and has studied with multiple Vipassana and Thai Forest teachers. She is currently studying with Sensei Shun’E Ulrike Greenway in the Zen tradition and received the precepts in a Jukai ceremony February 7, 2024
What to expect: Each person will work with their own randomly chosen Koan. SoKai will guide the group through the process of working intimately with your own koan. Koans will be randomly chosen the day of the study session. At the end of the day attendees will share insights that we gained from our koan, if we choose.
I would like to encourage people to attend in person. There is something to be gained by being in the presence of other practitioners.
Location: Red Clay Sangha, 3315 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, and on Zoom
Food: There will be a short break for tea and snacks
Schedule: If you are attending in person (I hope you are): The door will be open by 8:45 for arrival and settling in. At 9:00 .
If you are attending on zoom the zoom meeting will be open by 8:45 so that we can make sure technical things are working. You will be able to participate fully in the process from home, on zoom.
